The Game:
It's a very cute game based on the anime design of the Wedding Peach
manga characters. A little digitized voice adds a nice touch. This game
requires a multiplayer adaptor for 3 player games, otherwise in 1 or 2
player games, the computer plays for the other non-human players.
There are 2 modes: Story, and Mini-game. The story will take me longer to figure out because there's a lot of text just for that in the game. The 8 mini games are:
1. piko piko Jamapii - up to 3 players compete in a Whack a mole type game, using the x-y-a-b buttons which match the positions of the holes Jamapii is supposed to pop out of and get whacked. The holes are colored, and some 3rd party controllers even have the x-y-a-b buttons colored that way, but the ones you get with the system aren't.
2. Doki Doki slot - Using the A button, players stop the rolling sections to match up the head, body, and legs of the characters on the slot machine. Matching the top 2 panels will score points, but it's best to get all 3.
3. Pair Angel - A game similar to matching up 2 cards at a time. Very easy to figure out.
4. Look for the Four Sacred Somethings - All 3 girls must search bushes for the Sacred Something Jamapii shows in the square above him.

5. Jamapii Hunt - 3 Jamapii come out of holes in the top of the game, and the girls, Momoko, Yuri, and Hinagiku must fire a little colored ball to hit Jamapii to score points.

6. Wai Wai Tsuri [taikai] - Fishing for goldfish. Not sure how the scoring works... The only tip - catch them fish as fast as possible!!!
7. Ojama Catch - UFO catcher style game! Cute - Jamapii is worth no points! Each girl has a matching colored ufo catcher claw.
8. Where is the Ojama - This one took a while to figure out. 3 pictures of poses of Jamapii are shown. Each one has a colored box around the picture. Whatever color box is around a pose, you must find that same picture later on. For example, Hinagiku's picture to find has a green box around it. Press the A button to begin. You get 4 chances. The 8 windows will open 3 at a time for about 13 moves. Where ever the last windows opened, those are the places to pick, and for the proper Jamapii pose for each girl. If Momoko finds Yuri's picture to find, she may not score any points, but will if she finds the one she is supposed to find! Not clear right off what you're supposed to do until I watched this one a few times.

The Good:
Some nice things it does have: Excellent music, graphics, and it
even has sorta multiple endings. In the final battle, Igunisu and
Blackie can escape! If I had the Multi Player 5 device, I think this
game would have high replay value and be a hit at parties. The 8 mini
games are both fun and a little aggravating. Only 2 of them require luck
while the other 6 are skill-based.
The Bad:
Some things I wish it had: A true 1 or 2 player mode without
computer players. All the games are timed, so it would have been nice to
adjust the amount of time you got or set a scoring limit. Also the text
that pops up during the story mode often does not pause long enough to
read without having to videotape and pause the video. At least during
the games, the instructions always pop up reminding you how to play. It
would be nice to turn them off, but at least you can press A to speed up
those messages and get past them.
Ja ne!
